Agama Shastra

Coming up .....

  1. Dear Sir,

I'm a student from the University of Nottingham pursuing M.Arch Design. As I was researching on my dissertation topic I came across your blog.

My research topic is 'The lost meaning of Indian Temple Architecture'. I'm re-digging the lost meaning which was opted for the well being of the society by our ancestors. For example: the garbagraha - which is simply not a place where God is place as people see it today. It had got its three sides closed and the copper plates buried beneath the diety's statue which absorbs and radiates the magnetic waves to its surroundings thereby helping a worshipper gain positive energies from it by rotating clockwise.

I'm hunting for such direct meanings which dates back since the beginning of temple construction. Could you share the informations on the AGAMA SHASTRA? That would help me come up with an effective Dissertation.

    Thanks,
    Archana Vasudevan

Also buy a proper book with sanskrit versus and explainations about Agama Shastra and consecration of temples.
